The HireOptimize Story

HireOptimize started in 2017 as a way to help companies and candidates better understand each other. The concept was birthed out of our founder's experience building up-to-date, experiential learning modules for undergraduate and graduate business courses. These educational videos were specially designed up-to-date case studies based off of interviews with real executive teams. Companies share information about their businesses, including specific challenges they are encountering in different departments. Real Time Cases feature over 50 compelling companies and are used in over 150 colleges and universities globally.

HireOptimize uses the same types of challenges to help candidates better understand the company they're applying to. We develop in-depth background information on the company, the culture, the business model, and other areas that are relevant to the specific job. We also assemble nuanced Mini-Cases and Candidate Challenges to test applicants relevant capabilities.

Background

Our Co-Founders Jordan Levy and Kelly Mullaney have extensive backgrounds with hiring and education. Jordan Levy, our CEO, started his first company, Real Time Cases, in 2014 while finishing his undergraduate degree at Lehigh University. While at school, he and his Co-Founders realized that learning could be much more fun, interesting, and beneficial to all students if it was designed to expose learners to new experiences and circumstances in the rapidly changing world from the safety of the classroom.

Kelly Mullaney, a University of Tennessee graduate, has worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch for two years on the Global Wealth and Investment Management team. His time at Merrill Lynch helped him to develop and craft a multi-level client servicing and sales background. In this role he was responsible for advising both consumer and enterprise relationships, on a variety of different financial goals and objectives.

We believe candidates should explore new companies and new job opportunities in an entertaining and engaging way. We help companies assemble the right types of materials to showcase their business and challenge their candidates.

We help companies recruit more dedicated, more interested, and more qualified team members.

We don't think it should be challenging for companies to find candidates that match their culture. With our materials, it's much easier to make sure candidates understand the responsibilities and the overall vibe before joining the organization.

We use short multimedia clips to showcase information about the company. We include overview material on the business, an exhibition of company culture, information about the job role and responsibilities, and various assessments that simulate what it would be like to be an actually employee.  similar to the actual work an employee would be doing.


personal
We want candidates to meet the company before considering a job. A place of work is where people spend over 1/2 of all waking hours each week. We want this process to be about exploring people and positions that inspire candidates.
